Our History

In 2019, New Day Rising LLC was founded to provide assessment, coaching, and development services to senior and executive leaders across Northeast Wisconsin. 


In 2023, we began leveraging a state of the art, new to the world, business intelligence platform from The Rejuvi Venture, Inc.


The data, analytics and insights help businesses large and small get near-immediate answers to:


  • level up leaders in a highly personalized way
  • heatmap health across the organization
  • predict risks of attrition and transformation efforts


We partner with a community of vetted experts and advisors, and use a proven framework to determine all the ways to drive value creation.


Mel McCarthy

Founder, Principal Consultant

Mel is an experienced business leader and Executive coach who enjoys tackling challenges and helping others navigate to the other side of change, growth, and development. She describes leadership as a "full contact sport", and strongly believes it takes head + heart + humility to be an effective and worthy leader.


Throughout her 25+ year corporate career, she has been a change agent and leader in organizations small and large. She enjoys future-oriented work designing workforce and workplace experiences, building new business capabilities, upskilling talent, readying leaders, and integrating technology so companies can grow, scale and keep winning.  Most recent roles include VP of Digital Experience, Sales Consultant, Director of Learning and Leadership Development, and Manager of R & D.  Mel holds a Master of Science degree in Training and Human Resource Development from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.


When she isn't working, Mel likes to travel, read, DIY, and dig in the dirt.  She values spending time with friends enjoying laughs, delicious food and drink. She loves nature walks with her husband Mike of 25+ years and their two golden retrievers, Frodo and Finley.
